This coffee press (from England) is advertised as a 3 cup press. It actually holds 1-1/2 standard measurement cups.(8 oz.cup) I was very disappointed with it, but shipping costs were too high for me to return it. The 3-cup coffee press from Bodun I had before actually held 3 cups. Also, it isn't a very good coffee press as the bottom widens out so you can't press all the coffee out. I would not buy again. Expensive mistake.
