Since writing my original review (below) I have upgraded my rating from a 2 to a 5. Despite my reservations about my original purchase of this product, when it came time to replace it, I bought another - namely, because it is still better made than the alternatives. When the new pot arrived, I found on the box the name of the distributor (United Brands), along with their email address,[...], and phone number, 415 615-0780. I called the distributor and found that they do supply replacement glass beakers at a reasonable price. I ordered one, and it arrived today. It's an exact duplicate of the original, so now I have two miam.miam pots.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This product is well made and works fine for coffee, although after using the tea feature once, I never bothered again (there are simpler ways to make tea that work just as well).One minor annoyance is that because the steel pieces around the filtering screen are quite stiff, it is difficult to flush out all of the coffee grinds from between the lower support piece and the screen. Consequently I usually took the screen mechanism apart for cleaning. This is easy, but the "nut" at the bottom of the stem than holds the screen assembly on is quite small, and easily dropped down a sink drain.If this were the only problem I would have given the product a 5 star rating. The reason I'm giving it a low rating is that after using the press for about 6 months, I cracked the glass beaker, and my extensive web searches to find one have been fruitless. There are generic beakers available, but their dimensions differ too much from that of the miam.miam. Given that these glass beakers are fairly fragile, I would advise against buying a press from a company that does not provide replacements, unless generic replacements that fit are available. If anyone knows of a source for the miam.miam beaker, I would appreciate the information. If one is available, I'll revise my rating upward.

This is a great teapot. My boyfriend and I went to Teavana at the mall and bought loose tea leaves and we wanted a teapot that has an infuser for the loose leaves so I bought our new Miam.Miam without knowing if it was good or not. This was so easy to use and it brews the tea fast. We love this product and would buy it again. Not to mention it looks really nice and classy. We got the 1000-Milliliter and we were able to make more than four cups and with the tea we use, we were able to steep it another time. Just pour more hot water and in a few minutes you can have more tea. Easy and simple.
