I am not a coffee drinker, but I love gourmet loose-leaf teas. This coffee press has a really nice filter that strains out the smallest particles and works well for making loose-leaf tea. I use it to make batches for iced tea.

It does the job. I am happy with the purchase at the price I paid. Nice bonus that the glass pulls out of the plastic for placing in dishwasher. Easy to use in the microwave for boiling water quickly.

My only issue with this product is that it doesn't have markers on it to allow you to make less then 4 cups of coffee.
