It makes enough coffee to fill my Stanley thermos and have a large mug for the drive to work. (they just opened a Starbucks on thge way and it's soooo easy to drop $5 a day) **PLUS....the only plastic is the handle and ball on top. Thank you La Cafetiere design team for that! Every fp I've seen from Walmarts' to $70 Bodums' had plastic in contact with the coffee. This cost me $37 shipped and would have easily been $50 in the store....if I could have found it. A shout out to everyone involved in getting this french press to me. I just love the internets!

I had purchased the smaller 8 cup version of this and loved it so much I had to have the 12 cup one too. This french press makes the very best coffee I have ever made. Paired with the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill I am now set to make the most excellent coffee.
