Broke handle within 30 seconds, slow response

Within 30 seconds after receiving this cup the handle broke. The design requires the top of the handle to receive all the stress, and when we held the cup by the handle and removed the cap, the handle broke off. I guess we could try to glue the handle back on but decided to have the company replace it. Either the design is totally inadequate or it was weakened during shipment. I believe that even if it was damaged during shipment, the design is totally inadequate, and have requested that our payment be refunded. NOW...the second problem: we have been trying to get the company to send us a return form without any success. They continue to acknowledge that they have received our request to return the item, and promise to follow through, but still they have not sent the return form and label. This was a small purchase, but troublesome.

After the first cup of coffee, I started getting grounds. I checked the filter, the metal mesh is offset and one side does not meet the edge of the plunger. Cannot find out how to get a replacement.

I was going to return this, but ended up just throwing it away. To be fair, when I complained, Amazon emailed me a return label and instructions. The cost and hassle of shipping it back just didn't seem worth it, though. I bought this as a Christmas present and the recipient loved it until it leaked coffee all over our table and floor and various objects. During the first 2 minutes of the very first use! Needless to say, he did not like that particular present and I felt horrible for giving him something so poorly made. It's plastic, by the way and even looks cheap with a giant tacky logo that wasn't pictured at the time I purchased it.
